The most effective form of transport around the villages is by bicycle; they can navigate narrow dirt paths, wind around crops, be maintained locally and are low technology. Bicycles help our community health workers reach clients for visitations, and often serve as ‘ambulances’ for those who are too weak to walk; Positive Aid reinforces the frames of our bikes and adds extra features including extra handles, feet rests and cushions on the back, to help clients sit comfortably.
