Only half of Kenyan women give birth with a skilled birth attendant, many lacking the resources to do so. The risks involved are great, and can result in tragedy for both mother and child. Positive Aid assists pregnant women to give birth safely, breaking down barriers of remoteness, lack of awareness and poverty to allow them to reach a health facility when the time comes.

By supporting safe births, your regular donation will provide pregnant women with the essential supplies they need for hospital deliveries (gloves, cotton wool, antiseptic, etc.), timely transportation (even in the middle of the night), and some basic materials to take home for postpartum health and sanitation.
