Jess Alvarez nominated for a Banyule Volunteer award
Date: 2017-05-17
Jess Alvarez was recently invited to attend Banyule’s award ceremony as a nominee in the Individual Volunteer Award category. While she didn’t receive an award she shared a fantastic night with Positive Aid committee members, family and the 29 other nominees. Denise Scott hosted adding humour and kicks. Jess was recognised for having dedicated a great amount of her time and energy over the last ten years in establishing, developing and growing Positive Aid’s projects in Kenya.
We congratulate Jess on the nomination and for getting Positive Aid’s name out there. The work we’re supporting is so worthwhile and deserves to be in the spotlight on these occasions!
