Project expansion to Boro
Date: 2013-12-02
These coloured areas represent the coverage of Positive Aid supported community health workers. Last year we trained new workers in Boro Division for the first time. They have been doing a tremendous job in a highly stigmatised area and we are already seeing changes in local people\'s attitudes towards HIV/AIDS. Positive Aid is planning to train another 18 community health workers in the area, to reach more people infected and affected by the disease. We would like to thank the community health workers for the fantastic impact they are having on reducing stigma and educating the community on HIV/AIDS.
