Positive Aid supported community health workers plant trees on their new land.
Positive Aid recently bought a piece of land in Uranga for our Kenyan partner organisation to use in the project. So far community health workers have prepared the earth and planted trees. We plan to sink a well for clean water to be available on the site this year. Beyond that, there are a range of awesome possibilities we are considering, from cash-cropping to raise local income, to constructing a health facility to bring services closer to remote villages. Watch this space as real development happens!
