Pregnant clubs are empowering women
Date: 2014-06-03
The pregnant womens clubs that Positive Aid supports are growing by the month, and showing just how much benefit can be derived from the simplest things - bringing people together, sharing information, working out solutions. Through this initiative, pregnant women are empowered with knowledge, connections to medical and antenatal support, transportation to health facilities when they go into labour, and safe birthing supplies. Congratulations to our wonderful MCH Officer Connie, who is championing this part of the project along with management and volunteers on the ground.
