Emergency flood relief
Date: 2015-11-10
Floods recently swept through large areas of Uranga Division, with high waters entering homes and businesses, ruining peoples crops and leaving others stranded. Poor sanitation and flooded latrines threatened public health with the risk of cholera and other disease outbreaks. Positive Aid was quick to respond to the crisis by sending financial support to our community health workers and their clients. The funds provided urgent relief and have helped to keep our project running throughout a really challenging time in the local community.
